Frequently Asked Questions 1) How can I register for the 2010 IR Global Rankings? To register, all you need to do is fill out the registration form which is available on the IR Global Rankings website. To access the form, click here. 2) What are the differences between the free and paid rankings for the 2010 edition? The difference between the free and paid ranking is that the free ranking does not include the feedback report with our insights/suggestions for your company’s specific results. By choosing the free ranking, you will only know your final score and overall ranking position. To know what is included in each ranking, please refer to the table below:
3) How do I register for the Investor’s Choice award (Best IR Program and Best IR Officer)? All companies that are registered to the 2010 IR Global Rankings are automatically participating in the Investors’ Choice category, free of charge. The final results for both of the Investors’ Choice categories (Best IR Program and Best IR Officer) are based on online votes received for each company, with limitations on vote validity as explained in the 2010 Information Package. Once the registration period has ended, the IRGR team will contact all participating companies in order to get the name of the IR officer for nomination. The voting period for both categories within the Investors’ Choice award will take place from November 16, 2009 to December 16, 2009. Companies are free to do all the marketing efforts necessary to gather votes, such as including banners on their IR websites and sending mailings/alerts. 5) How can I nominate IR officers to register them for the ranking "Investor‘s Choice"? Shortly after the registration period has ended (October 30, 2009), the IRGR team will contact all participating companies to request the names for nomination. 6) How many IR officers of a company can be nominated? Can the entire IR team be nominated? Only one name can be nominated for the IR officer. Companies should inform the key member or the member that has the most contact with the investor community. The entire IR team is reflected for nomination under the category “Best IR Program” however, specific team names can not be submitted. 7) How can companies integrate the IR Global Rankings banner on their website? When the IRGR team contacts all participating companies to gather the required information for the “Investors’ Choice”, all necessary next steps, including the integration of banners, will also be coordinated with all participants. 8) Is the Benchmark study included in Packages 01 or 02 or is it an additional cost? The benchmark study is entirely separated from the rankings costs, however, companies will receive a discount that corresponds to the prices paid for the ranking they selected. Essentially, the final price of the 2010 Benchmark Study will be US$1,600 minus whatever was paid for a ranking package. 9) How do I qualify for a 20% discount? All companies that participated in any of the past editions of the IR Global Rankings since 2005 are automatically entitled for a 20% discount on all ranking options. Additionally, companies that are members or clients of CAN (Corporate Asia Network) and Nevir (IR association in The Netherlands) will also have this discount. 10) Besides registering for the ranking, what else is the IR team/company responsible for? If your company selects the IR website and/or Financial Disclosure rankings, all you need to do is register so that IRGR receives your approval for the reviews. If your company selects to also participate in the Corporate Governance ranking, your team will be requested to fill out a specific corporate governance questionnaire that will be sent in November. Since all companies registered for the 2010 IR Global Rankings are automatically participating in the Best IR Program and Best IR Officer awards, you will also need to submit the name of the IR officer for the Best IR Officer category. |
